Q-0003: Need documentary proof of birth location of Benjamin Franklin OLAN, son of Benjamin Franklin OLAN and Mary Jane DAVIS, who m. Mary Elizabeth LANGSTAFF. Birthplace likely either New York state or Canada, but where's the proof? [OlanP, 4-24-99]

Q-0004: Looking for parents of Anna EDGBERT, who m. 1 Aug 1829 to David OLIN (b. 16 Jan 1795, Addison, Vermont; d. 1860, Michigan). Also, parents of Sarah EGBERT/EDGBERT, who m. 11 Aug 1805 to Benjamin OLIN. Were Anna and Sarah related and, if so, how? [Edgbert, 4-25-99]

Q-0006: Need info on Mary OLIN (b. 12 Sep. 1835) who m. about 1853, probably in WI, Julius G. WARNER (b. 19 July 1834, Leroy, Genesee, NY; d. 21 Oct. 1863, Biron, Wood, WI). They had 3 children: William Julius, Arletta Mary, Mattie Emily. Mary m. (2) to Dennis C. DOLPH. They, too, had 3 children: Edson L., Hattie Aurelia, Dennic C. [Fish, 10-3-99]

Q-0007: Looking for relatives of Floyd OLIN (d. 1959, upstate NY?) who m. 1900, Oneonta, NY Mary QUICK (d. 1975, Palatine Bridge, NY). They had sons Arnold E. OLIN (d. 11 March 1998, Clayton, NY) and Warren OLIN (d. Alexandria Bay, NY) who m. Lillian PETRIE (d. ???). [Durr-Keinz, 10-9-99]

Q-0008: George Edward OLIN (b. abt 1847) m. 20 Dec. 1891, Milwaukee, WI, Mary Catherine RINEHART. They relocated to Alberta, Canada in late 1890's. George had a brother(?) William H. OLIN (b. 1834). Could George and William be the sons of William OLIN and Sarah BONDS, originally from NY and VT? Need evidence that they moved to Wisconsin area. [Krahn, 10-9-99]

Q-0009: Need parents of Jonathan OLIN (b. 1760) whose dau. Phoebe OLIN (b. 1792, Shaftsbury, VT; d. Jan. 1828, VT) m. Isaac MATTESON (b. 1793; d. 26 Sep. 1842, VT). [Matteson, 10-11-99]

Q-0010: Abigail OLIN, dau. of William OLIN and Mary SISSON, m. Peleg JOHNSON. They had a dau. Mary Ann JOHNSON, who m. Rev. Thomas HISTED. Did Abigail and Peleg have any other children? Also need information on Peleg himself. [London, 1-4-2000]

Q-0011: Looking for Frances "Fanny" OLDEN (b. 25 Oct. 1780, New Jersey) who m. John BISSETT. Both possibly died and buried in Licking County, Ohio, where their children were born. [Watts, 1-4-2000]

Q-0012: Looking for any information on Ann OLIN, dau. of William OLIN and Maria MARTIN, who m. Unknown SMITH. Need SMITH's given name, Ann's DOB/DOD, or children's names to make a possible connection to a known line. [Hoyle, 2-18-2001]

Q-0013: Need lineage for Henry Giles OLIN (b. 1892) who m. Eva Blance GOODALE. His father likely either William or Benjamin OLIN, who jointly purchased homestead in Bolton, CT. [Miller, 11-24-2002]

Q-0014: Looking for any information on descendants of George A. STEELE and Florence B. GATES who m. 1880 in Keeler, MI. (See Nye, p. 336.) [Hughes, 11-24-2002]

Q-0015: In 1946, Saul OLIN wrote "The Story of Fairport, (Belmont County) Ohio". Looking for any information on the lineage and background of Saul. [Sirrine, 11-19-2005]

Q-0016: Looking for parents of Wallace OLIN (b. 1836, New York State) who had a son Frank OLIN. They lived in Michigan at time of 1880 census. His parents were born in Vermont. [OlinD, 2-18-2006]

Q-0018: Need parents for Emiline (OLIN) JOHNSON, who came from NY to Rockford, IL, estimated sometime in the mid-1800's. Who was her husband? She had a least one daughter, Myrtle JOHNSON, who married a COMSTOCK and lived in Rockford. [Maenza, 8-19-2006]

Q-0019: My great-grandfather, John Olin (b. ca 1868) may be the child of John and Roxanna Olin of Solon Twp, Michigan. No proof yet to connect that and I am unable to find a marriage record for John and his wife Etta. John may have taken ill in Cincinnati or Manistee and was at the Michigan state hospital until his death in 1927. [Pierce, 11-15-07]
